We connect military families and their loved ones worldwide.



Pine Tree chapter volunteers and the Armed Forces Emergency Services (AFES) network worldwide is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep military families connected. When it is essential that your serviceman receive word of a family emergency, such as a death, illness, or birth, or your command needs verification of a situation at home in order to grant leave, the AFES network is here for you.

Get to Know Us Before You Need Us
Family emergencies are trying enough without the added difficulty of figuring out who you need to call to begin the process for emergency communication, leave, or loans. American Red Cross representatives are available to speak with you or give presentations explaining this process in detail, so that you know us before you need us.

For all communications, keep on hand:

    SERVICEMAN/WOMAN'S NAME (Include middle initial)
    RANK
    SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
    DATE OF BIRTH
    MOST CURRENT MILITARY ADDRESS (should inclue an APO AE# if overseas)
