 Disaster Assessment Course

 

Course description: The purpose of the course is to build capacity within the Disaster Assessment Activity and prepare one to respond as a DA worker effectively and efficiently on a disaster incident that happens in your chapter. Participants will learn how to collect and communicate disaster assessment information, explore related preparedness tasks, and understand the importance of having this critical information in the early stages of a disaster. We will be discussing what community resources one has in chapterland that will be critical to build relationships with.  We will discuss the forms to use and conduct exercises to meet learning objectives.
