American Red Cross
Pine Tree Chapter
- Local Student Donates Ride to help Red Cross

Penobscot Job Corps Academy Student, Steven Gagnon, created an outstanding wooden replica of a motorcycle chopper. It took Steve almost 5 months to create and has been on display at the Penobscot Job Corps Academy for the past couple of months.

Steve has decided to donate this motorcycle to our local Pine Tree Chapter on behalf of Penobscot Job Corps.

It is touring to the American Red Cross Blood Donor Center; located at 900B Hammond Street where the public is encouraged to stop in, donate some life saving blood and purchase raffle tickets to win this phenomenal piece of art!

The bike will be housed at the Red Cross donor center through July 17th giving the public the opportunity to step up and help our your American Red Cross donor center as well as the Pine Tree Chapter.

The wooden motorcycle will be raffled off on August 1st with all proceeds going directly to the American red Cross Pine Tree Chapter to help in with their Disaster relief efforts.

Anyone can purchase raffle tickets at the Red Cross Donor Center and receive 3 chances to win for only $10!

We encourage businesses and other Academies to get involved and take the chance on winning this masterpiece for a showpiece in their own facilities as well as saving a life by donating blood.

People can call 207-941-2900 or 207-941-2903 for more information. Tickets will be on sale all month long at the donor center or at the Job Corps Academy on Union Street.
