MISSION: The Pine Tree Chapter of the American Red Cross is a non-profit humanitarian organization that has been serving the communities of Northern and Eastern Maine since 1919. Led by volunteers and guided by our Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principals of the International Red Cross Movement, the American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
OUR COMMUNITY: Encompassing Penobscot, Piscataquis, Washington, Aroostook, Waldo,Hancock, and Knox counties we are geographically the second largest Red Cross chapter in the country.
